As we mark another World Anti-Obesity Day today, we at Smile To Shine would love to motivate you, to start or carry on with your morning workout regime through the tips that I am about to give you. One of the biggest health issues faced by the world today is obesity and no matter how hard we try, this public health problem just does not get controlled.

Now, we all know that we need to have a healthy diet and a good workout regime to loose weight. And many of us do decide to do these things, but in our tight schedules, we face another problem, and that is of choosing the right to work out. Most of you will agree that the best time to workout is in the morning, but most of us never really get the motivation to get out of the bed. The sleep and the warm cozy blankets just does not let us wake up to that level of freshness that we simply jump out of the bed and head to to the gym. Waking up in the morning and going for the morning workout are real struggles for some, but worry not, we are here to give you some special tips which will make you feel much more motivated to pursue your morning workout regime.

1. Keep your alarm clock far away from the bed

One of the biggest problems that we face in the morning is that we keep hitting the snooze button for some extra precious sleep, but when you have to get up, you have to get up. And for this, you will need to keep your alarm clock, or your phone, far away from your bed so that you are compelled to get up from your bed to stop it, and once you step out of the bed, you take your Victory Step No.1.

2. Have mints on your nightstand

I know, you will still feel the need to hop into the bed after waking up, and so for that, what you can do is that you can pop some mints into your mouth. They will not only help you fight bad breath, but will also stimulate your brain and make you much more alert. Waking up and staying awake- Mission Accomplished!

3. Have a cup of coffee

Most of us in any case do it, so what better than a cup of coffee to wake you up. And yes, do not worry, coffee will have absolutely no adverse effects on your workout regime. On the contrary, a cup of coffee will improve your mental as well as physical performance in the gym.

4. Have a friend with you

Now, you are all set to hit the gym after winning the morning wake-up battle. But, being alone can make you loose that battle at times and you may feel like you can have a day off. But, if you have a friend with you, whom you have to pick up while going to the gym, you will feel more compelled to go for the morning workout. You would not want to leave your workout buddy alone, and that would eventually help you.

5. Keep you gear ready the night before

Most of the times, we feel too lazy to collect our sneakers, water bottles and clothes and then just drop the idea of going to the gym at all. To tackle this issue, you can simply get your gear ready at night, and in the morning you will be ready to go. Isn’t it getting simpler?

The most crucial part of waking up in the morning is related to the quality of your sleep. If you are going to sleep late at night, there is absolutely no way that you will be able to wake up with a fresh mind and body. You will be tired and will certainly not be ready to go for the morning workout, that you have promised to yourself. Even if you push yourself out of the bed, you will not be energetic enough to perform nicely. So, it is advisable that you sleep on time so that you get your 7-9 hours of sleep and you go to the gym with a fresh mind and a refreshed body.

We hope these tips will help some of you at least. Waking up and working out in the morning do sound tough, but once you start doing it, you will see the difference in your energy levels of the day and you will be happy that you made this decision of working out in the morning.
